Clipped Wings

Ever hear of clipping bird's wings to prevent them from flying? One of the students today mentioned it after we watched a magic show with a dove in it. A.N.T. Farm also includes the phrase "Don't let anyone clip your wings" during their theme song. It made me think want to remember to never let anyone clip my wings. God has given us wings to fly with and by having our wings clipped, we are prevented from achieving his destiny. We can avoid this problem by staying away from things that could lead to addictions and burdens, including unhealthy relationships with others. We need to be able to work hard to achieve the goals that God has given us and His goals require flying in most cases. So hold your head high and be ready to fly.
