1000 miles completed!

I have finished my road trip and am safely back in my apartment. Only one large animal died and the many bugs which currently cover my windshield. I realized that while I was in the Pocono Mountains the only elevation sign I saw was 1940 ft. Ok... that's a fine mountain, BUT about 5 miles from my parents is a sign stating 2080 ft as the height of the road at that location. So my parents is higher than the mountains? Maybe that's why it just looked like I was driving the same thing all 1000 miles. Rolling hills vs. Mountains I couldn't see the difference.
