Freedoms and how we use it
We have so many freedoms in this country, but are we thankful for them? We have, with few limitations, the freedom to say what we want, to go where we want to, practice whatever religion freely, and more. If we can speak the name of Christ with limited fear of persecution why don't we? We aren't imprisoned for our faith, yet we still have a quiet mouth in regards to our faith. After learning about jail at church, Paul's time there and also what life is like there now for prisoners, I realized that we need to speak about the love of Christ and how he can change us. As the radio stated: we talk about things that are important to us, yet somehow we censor God ourselves. Yes there are rules we should follow... but the most important rules are God's. Be His ambassador in your workplace or school and be thankful for all of the freedoms we have. Also, remember our brothers and sisters in Christ who do not have the same freedoms and could be seriously harmed or killed for speaking about Christ. Pray for them as you pray for the courage to stand up yourself.
